Mosaiques diagnostics GmbH at a glance

Mosaiques provides highly innovative proteomics services using a unique CE-MS technology that profiles the polypeptides of body fluids. Measurement of the proteome in combination with database annotation is the key to an all-in-one diagnostic for a wide spectrum of clinical applications, including (but not limited to): early stage diagnosis of serious diseases, controlling efficiency of applied therapies, examining efficacy of new drugs, identifying new therapeutic targets, etc.

Our contribution to INCA

Kaposi sarcoma is a vascular tumor invariably associated with KSHV infection in all its clinical forms (post-transplant, classic, endemic, and AIDS-related). The incidence of the post-transplant form of KS varies in different ethnic groups from 0.5% to 5.3%. Sensitive tests for non-invasive diagnosis and identification of patients at high risk to develop KS are still lacking. Mosaiques diagnostics will profile spot urine samples of patients suffering from KS using its CE-MS technology and then employ these profiles for non-invasive identification of those patients at high risk to develop KS.
