Austrian Academy of Sciences a a glance

The Institute for Biomedical Aging Research serves as a contact for all questions related to aging research. The Austrian Academy’s decision to establish an Institute for Biomedical Aging Research was part of its strategy to establish a program encompassing the widely divergent projects on aging research being conducted in scattered groups around the country. The Cell Metabolism and Differentiation Research Group (Head Werner Zwerschke) has a strong focus on Cancer Research.
INCA Project

Our contribution to INCA

Under INCA, we want to investigate the interaction of HPV-16 E7 with cellular ubiquitin E3 ligases. Moreover, we will develop peptide aptamers inhibiting the KSHV LANA-1 protein.
